We ask that you please keep them with you at all times and if they are in need of your attention, please take them out of the sanctuary to minimize the distraction to others. The Lord is deserving of all glory and attention at that time and we so appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you!

is a wisdom of men…you can go that route, it’s earthly, sensual, demonic and
futile. There is wisdom of God that fears Him, loves Him, seeks to do

A NOTE FROM PASTOR PETE:

Dear Calvary family,

Due to our economic times, I will be going back to work full time starting July 18. I will be resuming my full time automotive position as a line tech at Sheridan Motors. I will be working 8-5, Monday thru Friday and I will be tending to ministry duties evenings and Sundays with Saturdays as my day off & family day, which I will be diligently guarding. Please feel free to contact me anytime you need anything and I will return your call or email as soon as I am able to do so.

Pastoring will always be my calling, but ‘tent making’ is my responsibility in taking care of my family. I praise God that He has miraculously provided the tools, job and talent to serve Him in the automotive industry during these economic times. Praise God, He will always provide for us! Sometimes behind a desk, and at other times holding a wrench, but He is always faithful!

For His glory,

Pastor Pete

WEDNESDAY JUNE 29, 6:30 p.m. – “Taking the Hill” (A Warriors journey home) Over the years, Raul Ries, a military veteran (US Marine Corps) has reached out to those who are serving or have served in our armed forces. He has spoken to countless men and women from various theaters of military conflict, after their return home. In 2006, 40 years after fighting in the jungles of Vietnam, Ries experienced flashbacks for the first time. Subsequently, he found three of the men closest to him, who fought alongside of him in the Marine Corps unit ALPHA 1/7, who have suffered the same things. Together again, they are taking the hill and finding healing. We are showing this movie about the historic events of Vietnam and the life of Raul Reis, on the Wednesday night before our national July 4th celebration. We are planning to run a PSA and invite the public, and specifically all the vets who’d like to come. This is a brand new film from ‘Somebody Loves You Films’. If you’ve been in the service or know someone who has, especially those who are suffering, this will be a powerful film. Apparently Raul had an emotional break down a few years ago over his flash backs, and even lost his mind. This movie was produced as his “Taking the Hill” back in his life. Wonderful, wonderful movie and a great honor to our men and women in our armed forces

“SWORD & TROWEL”LEADERSHIP MEETING will replace our monthly WOW Ministry Head & Elders/Deacons meetings. We will combine both into one meeting starting on July 19, and then we will meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

A NOTE FROM PASTOR PETE:

Dear Calvary family, it’s great to have a chance to get away and spend some time with my family this week. As I announced on Wednesday night – due to our economic times, I will be going back to work full time starting July 11. I will be resuming my full time automotive position as a line tech at Sheridan Motor. I will be working 8-5, Monday thru Friday and I will be tending to ministry duties evenings and Sundays with Saturdays as my day off & family day, which I will be diligently guarding. God bless each of you who are devoted to the faith!

In Jesus’ name, Pastor Pete

Regarding baptism, our Lord’s 1st instruction to us once we receive Him to be our Lord & Savior is to be publicly baptized. Water baptism does not save us, but rather is a public demonstration of an inward change. Baptism is also our 1st step of obedience as a disciple of Jesus Christ. If you would like to be baptized, or have any questions, regarding baptism, please see Pastor Pete.
